Meet Pamela Wilson, E-RYT 500, Integrated Somatic Trauma Practitioner and YACEP
Hello and welcome to Radiant Spirit Yoga.
Pamela Wilson is an E-RYT 500-hour yoga and meditation teacher, an Integrated Somatic Trauma Practitioner as well as a certified Thai Massage and reflexology therapist. She is the owner of the Radiant Spirit School of Yoga, which offers trainings and workshops locally and around the world.
Pam began her yoga journey decades ago, when her neurologist recommended yoga as a means of therapy to help in the treatment of her bodies Young Onset Parkinson's Disease. Within a few months of asana practice, she noticed a dramatic difference in her body and mind and dedicated herself to bring the healing practice of yoga to others. Her trainings and studies have spanned various modalities, including trauma informed yoga and somatic therapies.
As her experience in teaching grew and her studies deepened, Pam was called to open the Radiant Spirit School of Yoga. For the past few years, she has offered both 200-hour and 300-hour trainings around the world as well as at home. She is often off to a new destination, with requests for various trainings and lectures coming from around the world.
Pam is currently working from her home studio, where she offers both in person and online sessions to her students and clients. She brings to her training programs as well as all of her endeavors a deep respect for the practice, a love of the history, mythology and philosophy associated with yoga and a gentle, compassionate heart. She aims to honor the traditions of the practice while acknowledging its constant changing dynamics.
